2022.01.23 21:31 slickslaw Anyone else hate their life bc of their labia
My title may be extra but it’s sort of how I feel. It’s so ugly and the discomfort it causes is only a reminder every single day. Not that guys are interested in me but even if I did somehow lol get into a relationship, I would never let them come close to seeing my ugly labia. I don’t care if they are the sweetest guy in the world, I absolutely hate myself over it and can only imagine a guy getting disgusted and turned off first glance. I’m 18 but I wouldn’t want to go behind my moms back to get it done. Tbh if she saw how it looked, I’m sure she would be on board with the decision. I’m just so embarrassed to even say anything but the longer I go on, the less and less motivation I have to live. All my friends have boyfriends and it sucks. There isn’t much about my life to complain about so that’s why I hate how much a stupid vagina affects me:(

2022.01.23 21:31 WallabyJones509 No you can’t have the display…
If a piece of furniture is on the floor without a clearance tag, that means it’s still being made. The question of “can you sell me the display?” Has to be my least favorite.
Some pieces are, unfortunately, on back order. It means it’s popular and you picked a bad time to buy. It happens. From what the manufacturers told us, they have a hard time getting ahold of foams and fabrics. If you like it, take your place in line and wait like the other, more understanding customers. If I sold that display, I’d have to give you a clearance price since it’s been sat on hundreds if not thousands of times, other customers won’t know that it’s available, and working on commission, you’re robbing me of potential sales. That question is actually insulting by this point.
“If I have to wait almost a year for it, why won’t you sell me the display now? You’re missing out on a sale.”
because some people really like it and are willing to patiently wait for it. Not to mention that if I did, WE would have to wait to get another display. My manager would kick my ass, she’d have to contact corporate for another, they’re gonna be pissed, the manufacturers gonna ask what the hell we’re doing, it’s going to create a path of disaster. I’d probably lose my job. Half of our entire store is furniture that I can have in your home in the matter of days that I would love to show you if you can’t or aren’t willing to wait.
If anyone else sells furniture, I’d love to hear your stories! But moving from selling clothing and groceries to furniture… I have discovered my newest, least favorite thing to be asked lol.

2022.01.23 21:31 iamthebeaniestbean Link to send RhyHive complaints
Seeing as there have been several posts in the last few days about problems/frustrations with Rhythm Hive, I thought it might be helpful to put the link to the inquiry page here:
https://rhythmhive.oqupie.com/portals/1052/inquiry, and I believe the correct form of inquiry would be "Suggestion".
For some reason it's hard to access directly through their website and you have to go through the app (meaning everything would have to be typed on a phone, which can be tedious).
I have no idea when/how they check user suggestions, but I would be surprised if they checked the reddit for it, so I would advise anyone upset by continuous game changes and UI problems to submit their complaints to their official section.

2022.01.23 21:31 bosshax (GME) - Baby-Squeeze Anniversary Week Thoughts
| January 28th, 2021, nearly one year ago, a series of market makers, hedgefunds, brokerages, clearing houses and regulators simultaneously colluded to 'protect the system from a single idiosyncratic risk'. |
It's quite incredible to think that a company with a few billion in market cap could in a week become a risk to the worlds greatest financial markets, and stress test institutions that clear trillions of dollars worth of equities daily... But, that is exactly what happened.
There are two ways to consider this event. Most of vocal retail would purport that this baby-squeeze was simply the MOASS paused when they turned off the buy button. We've been waiting to re-start it an entire year.
The second way to consider the event, which is becoming more and more likely, is that this single event was unique and can never be repeated.
The reasons to support the latter idea comes down to options. Option contracts are enforced at T+2. No schenegians, no games, you can't offer up synthetics, you can't delay settlement. On the week of January 28th, pre-buy button, we had 150,000,000... yes, MILLION, options contract share equivalents, in the money. Of course GME had only ever issued 65 odd million shares, so this was a real problem.
Many of those option sellers (who owned the liabilities) had done so naked (obviously) and it was impossible and had been impossible to hedge risk (usually you would buy the underlying). Many of the option sellers were retail investors. Options are a zero sum game, the seller loses, the buyer wins, and so all those losses (amounting to around $15B value in a single week) had to be paid by somebody. The rules of the system, then (they've changed), required brokers to pay if their clients couldn't, and brokers really didn't want to pay, so they, and for other reasons, turned off the buy button, killed demand, and on the Friday of that week (with huge IV) option buyers mostly sold their contracts for CASH and did not take delivery of shares (exercise). Of course if they had... The MOASS may have happened the following week. But, they didn't, and who can blame them? That Friday the IV was all over the place and most holders were losing money every minute. So, they sold their contact, the open interest vanished, and with it the pressure was relieved.
During that January 2021 run up it was possible to buy that many OTM options because at the time options were cheap, really cheap, and it didn't take a lot of capital to acquire a huge options position which the market thought would never go ITM anyway. Weeklies are insanely powerful for their a-symmetrical bet opportunity on pay out (thought mostly they expire worthless). The T+2 settlement requirement on options would have caused the price to go into the tens of thousands. Most of us never truly understood any of this at the time, so the opportunity slipped through our fingers.
So taking all that into consideration... We can basically call the conditions of GME pre January 28th, 21, a phenomena. Since then you have for an entire year many participants playing on GME, selling high IV options (crazy high) and raking in premiums that option sellers could only dream of...
Last year GME had started to really go parabolic the week before January 28th... Well, here we are now entering the week of January 28th and we still have historically low volume, the price is low as ever and the overall market has tanked. Dip buyers showed up Friday and rescued GME from a low of $93 but it's unlikely we can continue on seeing positive sentiment unless there is some kind of black swan.
I've mentioned black swans before and there are only a few I can imagine coming.
1, Larry buys more. Why not? He's started to do GME interviews on TV, hanging his hat on the future of NFTs and how GME wants to be a tech company. He could drop a cool billion, but at what price and when?
2, GME makes an announcement. At this point an NFT Marketplace won't cut it. They need to announce the marketplace with HUGE corporate partnerships with major game studios and platforms. I'm talking a headline like: "GME NFT Marketplace announces partnership with Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, ActivisionBlizzard and other game studios to launch their branded NFT stores on GME NFT Marketplace". THAT would get some eyeballs.
3, GME does some kind of acquisition, or IS themselves acquired (that would be weird but they actually are becoming more and more attractive for someone like an Amazon who wants to get into Gaming).
4, Ryan Cohen buys more, unlikely since he would have done it back in Feb at $40.
5, A big whale buys in, like an activist investor, someone with a real long term track record.
6, A big short HF liquidates, that was known to be short GME, like a Melvin (might happen if investors withdrew, but they usually would have done that already).
That's about it...
So, back to this coming week... You'll see how the market behavior and sentiment are way different than last year- and yet people are EXPECTING something. They're mostly expecting MOASS. We just had a lot of options expire worthless and the next option chunk isn't until February 18th. This is absolutely the week for a pump, only to drop options before expiry once again.
The goal seems clear, get retail to spend their dollars on OTM and near-expiring options but first they have to crank IV, then kill the price (as they've done 10 times this year before a big option date). Usually they don't risk a run the week before the options date, so that rules out February 11th. So our window is basically the next 10 trading days for a cycle.
What do you see happening after February 18th? One possibility is if all the OTM options expire, and there is any de-hedging at all, the price could absolutely fall further. GME isn't in any big rush to launch their new product, and the kind of announcement they need which I mentioned above will take many months of contracts to tie up. Loopring is still working on their protocol. We haven't seen any GME NFT Creators leak anything and we've seen no evidence anyone has minted a thing... So it doesn't seem imminently ready. My best current guess is maybe June. So, March could be really depressing for these reasons discussed... No news, no options to look forward to, no big dates.
On the flip side if we see some significant volume and action this week, or any kind of black swan, everything changes.
So, going into this week we will have a run. But how high?
Well if you agree that a run now must take place within the 10 trading days as they will not risk a run pre-options week then here is a previous 9 day run we saw.
Here was how that run looked:
So, that was an $86 move on 50%.
In 9 days we've never had a bigger move than 50% in the entire year BEFORE the February run.
Now at $100 we're likely to see more volume, options are cheaper, so the move could be bigger... but...
Because the price has fallen SO far it's really dampened our possible move now...
I'd say $150 is a very likely probability.
$192 is probably or upper maximum.
If we see $223 it would be really shocking.
If we have a weak rally it does not bode well for later Feb and March price action.
Personally I'm not very excited about $200... But the stock doesn't care what I think and there are lots of buyers in the last 10 days that would be happy at $200 for a quick buck- and that will mean more selling pressure into resistance levels.

2022.01.23 21:31 BigSkyMountains Ground-cover recommendations
I'm thinking about taking out the lawn from our hell-strip in front of the house, and replacing it with some mostly native plants that I can manage with a drip system. It's roughly 60' long and 8' wide.
I have some good ideas, but I haven't figured out good ground cover options.
There are parts of it that I want to put in some brick stepping stones so anyone parking can walk across it. I'd like some type of ground cover that can go between the stones that can also survive a light trampling.
There are other parts that I'd like to emphasize "please don't step here". Something along the lines of a juniper bush, except that I specifically don't care for juniper bushes.
Any suggestions of plants to look at?
